Participate in Peer Relationships Research at Amherst College Amherst College is recruiting 10- to 12-year-old children to participate in the Social and Emotional Experiences Study, conducted by Dr. Julia McQuade! Children and parents are invited to their lab (on the Amherst College campus) for a two-hour study visit over the summer. Parents and children complete questionnaires about social relationships and emotions. Children also complete a social interaction task and cognitive measures while their physical response (e.g., heart rate and breathing) is recorded—$50 compensation is provided. The Crocker Farm Summer Read-a-Thon is the answer!
