Super-Easy-No-Extra-Money Ways to Support Crocker Farm
Do you feel like the school is always asking you for donations? Well, there are many ways to support Crocker Farm without spending an extra dime! You can also support Crocker Farm and help the PGO earn funds to support activities for the school’s students, teachers/staff, and families, through the following passive fundraisers. The more families that sign up, the more the school earns!
Stop & Shop A+ Rewards program
Stop & Shop will donate a percent of grocery purchases made by families that register for this program. Crocker Farm’s A+ Rewards program ID: 05194. Sign up at our local Stop and Shop store or online here. If you registered your Stop & Shop card for Crocker Farm in 2015 or later, you do not need to sign up again this year. Your Stop and Shop receipts will show if you are earning points for Crocker Farm. This school year, the A+ program runs from October 6, 2017 until March 15, 2018.
Vote for the Amherst Schools through the Florence Savings Bank Community Grant Program
Vote for us through the Florence Bank Community Choice Grant program. Each Florence Bank account holder gets one vote, and the voting runs from January 1st to December 31st each year. In February, the bank will donate $100,000 to local schools and non profit organizations. Any group with at least 50 votes will qualify for a grant! We are asking families to vote for the “Amherst Regional Public Schools Parent Guardian Organization” (ARPS PGO) to help our schools reach the 50-vote minimum needed to qualify for a grant. The ARPS PGO includes the PGOs for Crocker Farm, Wildwood, Amherst Regional Middle School, & Amherst Regional High School. Any grant awarded will be shared equally among the four PGOs. In 2017, the ARPS PGO was awarded $947 through this grant program.
Collect Box Tops for Education
Leave your Box Tops and Labels for Education in the collection box in the lobby or the PGO mailbox in the office. There are three main Box Tops collections each year: in October, February, and June. Box Tops really add up! Last school year, Crocker Farm earned more than $400. This money was used to help buy food for the Martin Luther King Jr. school breakfast, guidance staff’s snacks for students, & other food requests. The full list of products with Box Tops is at btfe.com. Brands participating in the Box Tops program include General Mills, Annies, Cascadian Farm, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Motts, Kleenex, Ziploc, Hefty, and more.
