Dear Crocker Farm Sixth Grade Families,

The sixth grade traditionally goes on an end of the year field trip. This year’s outing will be to Boston. The students, teachers, and chaperones will take a coach bus to the city where they will go to the USS Constitution Museum and take a Boston Duck Tour.

It is our goal to raise $4500 to fund the trip. We are looking for volunteers to help with our fundraising efforts.

We are having an indoor tag sale at Crocker Farm on Saturday, March 25thWe are looking for volunteers to help receive goods, price them, and set up the tables in preparation on Friday evening from around 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We need additional volunteers on Saturday to work the tables and clean up afterwards. We can use volunteers from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, if you only have time to do the morning or afternoon it would still be very helpful.  We will need about 4 people Friday evening to set up, and 8-10 people for the day of the tag sale

Also during the month of March we will be selling pizza and cookie dough from Hillside Pizza to be delivered Thursday, March 23rd for the weekend of the NCAA’s basketball playoffs. Crocker Farm Sixth Grade will receive up to $6 for every pizza or cookie tub sold. Look for flyers in your student’s backpack, and order some delicious pizza!

On Friday, April 7th in the evening there will be a rock concert at Crocker Farm put on by Rhys Davis, a sixth grade dad from Miss Leticia’s music school. It will feature performances from sixth grade students and teachers.

We will round out our fundraising efforts at the end of April with a light bulb sale. Look for more information in the spring.

Our last appeal is for volunteers to help with the yearbook.   If you are able to help, please contact Rie Traub at rietraub@comcast.net.   We need about 4-5 more people to help with the yearbook.  Rie can let you know specific jobs associated with this project.

If you are too busy to volunteer, and would rather donate financially to these efforts, please send a check made out to the Crocker Farm PGO. The memo must specify the funds are for the sixth grade.  Feel free to forward this email to 6th grade families whose email we do not have, and please email us with any questions.

Thanks!
