Amherst Art for Clean Energy Project

Published on 2021-02-14 by crockerfarmpgo Community News

The Amherst Sunrise Movement and ARHS juniors Elaine Wu and Rebekah Hong have created a project called Amherst Art for Clean Energy.  The goal of the project is to put together a student anthology of visual or written art inspired by nature or environmental action. ARPS students ages 5-18 are invited to submit their work. Once compiled, the anthology will be printed and sold to the general Amherst community, and all proceeds will be donated to Beyond Coal, an organization that works to convert coal energy to clean energy. This is a great opportunity for students to get their artwork published while contributing to a great cause.

Students can learn more about the project and submit their work at www.bit.ly/artforcleanenergy. The deadline to submit is April 7, 2021. For questions, please email artforcleanenergy@gmail.com.
