Amherst Recreation pool openings & swim lessons
Amherst Recreation is getting their water features ready for Summer. These include the Groff Park Spray Pad, the Outdoor Pools at Mill River Recreation Area and War Memorial, and Puffers Pond.
They also have a full schedule of swim lessons for the young ones.
Dates to Note
- Spray Pad Opens May 28th
- Outdoor Pools Open June 18th
- Swim Lessons will begin June 20th
Puffers Pond will open according to the conservation department’s standards for opening.
Message from Amherst Recreation: We believe that swimming is a life skill. Our qualified instructors love teaching water safety and great technical swimming to our community. The first day of each session will consist of testing to ensure that each swimmer is placed in the appropriate group. Join us!
