Free Community COVID-19 Test Kits
The Amherst Health Department is now offering asymptomatic, unobserved community testing for COVID-19. Adults and children ages 4 and older without symptoms of COVID-19 are eligible for testing. This new service is in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Pick up test kits in the Jones Library front hall during regular open hours, or at the Bangs Community Center side entrance (nearest Johnny’s Restuarant) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. After picking up your kit, please administer your test outside of the building. All test kits should be returned to the secure drop box outside the main entrance of the Bangs Community Center. Learn more.
