Friends of the Jones Libraries Holiday Book Fair: Nov. 17 & 18
Thousands of books, CDs, and DVDs will be available at bargain prices at the annual Friends of the Jones Libraries Holiday Book Fair Nov. 17 and 18 at the Jones Library in Amherst. This year, the sale will start with a special Friends Only night on Friday, Nov. 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m., when only members of the Friends of the Jones Libraries can shop. New members are welcome to join in advance or join at the door. Memberships start at $15.The Book Fair on Saturday, Nov. 18, will be held from 9 am to 1 pm; admission is free.
The Well Read Cook cookbook has just arrived hot off the press in time for the sale. It offers favorite, sure-to-please recipes from Library Friends. Library totes, mugs, and T-shirts also make great Amherst-theme gifts. Looking for advice on choosing the right gift book for a younger reader? Library staff will be available to help find a book that fits their interests. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Jones, Munson, and North Amherst Libraries.
