“Holiday Happiness” Card Campaign

Hello Crocker Farm families,

Delaney MacPhetres, a CF alumni (now a HS junior), has coordinated a “Holiday Happiness” Card Campaign. A Holiday Happiness deposit box is located outside the main entrance at Crocker Farm for families to bring  cards. Below is more information, and the more cards the merrier the holidays.

As you may have heard, the Holyoke Soldiers Home and other senior living facilities have been hit very hard by Covid-19.

For much of the quarantine, the veterans at the Soldiers Home and other facilities have not been able to have visitors. The residents will likely have to spend the Holidays without family and friends and that is sad.

Delaney’s grandfather lives at the Soldiers Home and she would love to do something to bring him and his fellow veterans and other seniors some HOLIDAY HAPPINESS!

She is asking if you would like to buy or make Holiday cards. She will deliver all cards to the Soldiers Home and other facilities to be distributed to the veterans and residents for the Holidays.

The cards should be generic (not going to a specific recipient). You may drop them off at the collection box at CROCKER FARM until December 22.

So, get out your markers and paper—get artistic. Let’s get as many cards as we can! Everyone is looking for stuff to do…let’s get creative and make some…HOLIDAY HAPPINESS!
