MPAC Multilingual T-shirt Fundraiser

The Multilingual Parent Advisory Council (MPAC) will offer two Excellency in Biliteracy scholarships to students who earn the Seal of Biliteracy. The Seal is an award given by the State Department of Education and local school districts to students who have proficiency in English as well as one or more additional languages learned in school or another setting (such as the student’s home).
English Learners, Heritage Speakers and World Language learners are all eligible for the award. Last year, 18 ARPS students earned the Seal of Biliteracy! Once a student successfully earns the Seal of Biliteracy, they will have a seal that appears on their transcript or diploma, showing future employers and potential colleges that they are bilingual.
