Passive Fundraising

Published on 2018-09-23 by Farah Ameen Uncategorized

Dear Crocker Farm Families

Throughout the year, there are different ways you can help our school fundraise without making direct monetary donations. All you have to do is register for school-related fundraising programs at local stores. Please see below for more information.

Thank you!

Bay State Textiles: Acceptable Clothing Donation Items for Textile Recycling and Reuse

The old way of thinking when getting rid of unwanted textiles was that items had to be in good condition with all the buttons, no rips or stains, etc. Bay State Textiles is changing the mind-set to have a positive impact on reducing unwanted textiles in the waste stream. Ninety-five percent of unwanted textiles can be reused or recycled.  Bay State Textiles accepts “the good, the bad and the ugly” as long as they ‘re clean and dry.  Whether you are cleaning out your closets, redecorating and updating draperies, linens, etc. or it is time to get rid of the childhood stuffed animals, keep them out of the waste stream and support your local community!

There are boxes located at ARPS schools.

“If you can wear it, Bay State Textiles accepts it”
