Seasonal Produce Virtual Cooking Class: Sept. 30
Join the Amherst Survival Center and the Jones Library for a virtual cooking class on Thursday, Sept. 30, 6 – 7 p.m. Since we still can’t gather in great numbers in one room, let’s gather together virtually to learn some recipes and tips for using the season’s fresh produce.
Are you wondering what to do with seasonal produce from your Survival Center pantry box, Mobile Food Bank distribution, CSA farm share, local farm stand, or generous neighbor? Would you like to learn how to make quick, simple, delicious meals for your family and friends? Join us for a free cooking class by Philip Avila, Community Meals Coordinator at the Amherst Survival Center.
To register, please email programs@joneslibrary.org. A confirmation email will be sent after registration, and a reminder will be sent with the Zoom link a week before the event.
This program is possible with support from the Friends of the Jones Libraries.
